Without going into long personal details, I had something come up that I wanted a second opinion on. The medicine prescribed was only alleviating the pain, it wasn’t really telling me what’s going on. By signing up with American Well, I was able to describe my symptom(s), explain my past medical history and any chronic illnesses I may or may not have all by the computer.
I opted out of video chat because I was at work and didn’t want to enable the webcam on a work computer, but I was able to see the physician live, and talk to her via chat text message.
