While the temperatures outside are
dropping, Allen Fieldhouse is just starting to heat up as the Kansas Jayhawks
women’s basketball team enters the Big 12 Conference season. From superheroes
to supporting a cause, there are several game day events and deals for the
whole family to enjoy! Here are just a
couple of those events fun for the family…
Superhero Day – Sat., Jan. 24 at 2
p.m.
Calling all superheroes! Children
dressed in their favorite superhero costumes will be admitted for free and get
to come onto court during halftime! Adult tickets start at only $5. Prior to
the game, special youth capes will be given away at the door.
Jayhawks for a Cure – Sat., Feb. 7 at
7 p.m.
For the seventh straight year, the
Kansas women’s basketball team will turn pink for the annual Jayhawks for a
Cure game. Pink t-shirts* will be given to fans to personalize with a message
to support the fight against cancer. Fans can also stop by the Fun Zone to
leave a personal message to be displayed at Lawrence Memorial Hospital or the
KU Cancer Center. Tickets for the game start at only $5 and for every fan in
attendance a dollar will be donated.
